Official forum car
The International Economic Forum-2010 was successfully held in St. Petersburg in June. For the second year running Mercedes-Benz was a forum partner and its “official automobile”. This is already a tradition that confirms the high image of Mercedes-Benz cars which are preferred by the Russian political and business elite.
This year 250 Mercedes-Benz S and E-class automobiles, as well as Viano provided limo services to participants and guests of the event offering them a comfortable drive through the city on the Neva River. A novelty this year was Autotracker GLONASS navigation system that monitored on-line the movement of automobiles and timely detected any deviations from the traffic route.
The whole pool of cars with minimal haul was offered for sale after the forum in the new Mercedes-Benz North automobile center in Moscow. The experience was successful last year and was repeated this year.
Last year the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum was used as a platform to present the flagship of Mercedes-Benz S-class sedan product line. This year the participants and guests were the first in Russia to see one of the latest products of the German carmaker. This time a new luxurious deluxe Maybach sedan appeared before the public.
It is difficult to imagine a more appropriate platform for the presentation of new premium automobiles than the “Neva summit”. The forum annually brings together heads of state and government, parliament speakers, leaders of international organizations, representatives of political and business elite of dozens of countries, scientists and public figures.
The renewed Maybach was presented in the official Starbar zone of business communications which Mercedes-Benz organizes in the Lenexpo center. Starbar has a total space of 600 square meters and offers an open-air site with tables under decoration umbrellas, indoor premises with tables and sofas, and a VIP-negotiations room.
The participation of Mercedes-Benz RUS in St. Petersburg International Economic Forum-2010 was a continuation of successful partnership with the Neva Summit organizers.
